Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,613 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Preferred Description: CONTRACT - RN - ICU - 13 WEEKS - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NO ON CALL REQUIRED Unit Profiles: This profile is designed to provide an understanding of the unit. The unit has 20 beds and 55 staff members. Staffing includes day shift charge and 10 RNs, as well as night shift charge and 10 RNs. Patient ratios are 2:1 and 1:1. The following equipment is used on the unit: GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Prismax CRRT, and Tablo SLED. Meditech is utilized for electronic medical records. Candidates must have experience with the following: Cardiac monitoring and rhythms. Titratable drips. Understanding of hemodynamics. Experience with respiratory patients including vents, Bipap, trachs, and airvo. Preferred skills include: Experience with CRRT and SLED. Typical procedures performed on this unit involve: Central line and chest tube insertion. Bronchoscopies. Tracheostomies. Lumbar punctures. Intubation. The ideal candidate will be: A team player.
