Intro

The Equipment and Tooling Shop (ETS) sets the bar for innovation in the company by designing, building, deploying, and supporting in-house automated manufacturing cells.

Job Description:

• Lead part of the team building in-house equipment and tooling
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing project scheduling of ETS Technicians performing construction of manufacturing cells and supporting released machines
• Review incoming work request tickets and assign priority based on cross department collaboration
• Supervisory responsibility for management of employee performance, discipline and development
• Mentor technicians to create a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards
• Ensure sufficient inventories of tools, parts, and supplies are maintained to construct the equipment
• Understands common electronical components and safety requirements
• Coaches technicians on troubleshooting and equipment diagnosis ensuring equipment behavior in the limits defined
  
  Basic Requirements:
  
  • 2 year Associates of Applied Science in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar technical degree, or equivalent experience. Candidates currently in a degree plan will also be considered
  • Highly organized with the ability to track multiple projects and priorities up to one year concurrently
  • Proficiency in using computer programs (Excel, SAP) to assist with daily work and organization
  • Ability to lead and develop diverse team of technicians ranging in experience from 0 - 40 years
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with others
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills
  • Passionate to pursue emerging technologies in automation
    
    Preferred Requirements:
    
    • 5 years of direct supervision in manufacturing environment
    • More than 3 years in a leadership role
    • Familiarity with Solidworks and other 3D CAD programs
    • Familiarity with 3D Printing / Prototyping
