POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides technical, data and analytical support for the Health Services Management-Clinical Services utilization, case management, service coordination and preventive health/disease management functions. - Troubleshoots medical management system-related issues. -Serves as subject-matter expert to both internal and external customers. - Is proficient in analyzing clinical services business needs, determining necessary configuration, and developing test scenarios to ensure accurate and complete testing. - Assists in the development of clinical metrics, data collection tools and presentations of resultant data in support of plan-wide services. - In-depth understanding of the interdependencies of all major IT systems as well as the ramifications of changes to interrelated subsystems. -

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

An associate degree is required, a Bachelor's degree preferred (Health Information Management degree preferred) with three (3) years minimum experience in medical management systems administration (education may be substituted for experience). Amisys, Acuity and/or Harmony experience is highly preferred and may be substituted for an Associates degree. - Managed care and project management experience is highly preferred.
