This is an ONSITE day shift position - Hours are tentatively scheduled for days with rotating weekends. 20% work from home. 

The facility is located at 6000 Northwest Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78249.

The Patient Access Manager over Virtual Registration in our inbound contact center is responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Virtual Registration functions and serves as the liaison between the Shared Services Center (SSC) and the facility. 

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform patient registration function via video or phone when needed to ensure patient wait times are kept to a minimum
  • Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff is adhering to the patient experience expectations.
  • Ensure QA on registrations for all facilities in scope for Virtual Registration
  • Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees
  • Prepare payroll and completes monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Follow-up on patient complaints promptly
  • Supervise and maintain the productivity of employees
  • Review the quality of patient registration documents daily

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  The requirement can be waived IF you are actively/currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and within 12 months of completion.
  • Minimum three (3) years leadership experience in call center and patient access or combination thereof.
