ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties include the
Sweeps, mops, scrubs floors, cleans windows, and dusts
Cleans washbowls, sinks, drinking fountains and toilets.
Collects rubbish and paper and empties wastebaskets.
Waxes and polishes floors when needed.
Sweeps sidewalks and maintains grounds.
Vacuum and dust office and hall areas.
Performs other related tasks as directed by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Should possess a
thorough working knowledge of custodial procedures and practices.
Two (2) to six (6) months of maintenance operations desirable. Must
be dependable, thorough, and efficient.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small
group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply
and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations
using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple
