This position requires a thorough knowledge of jail procedures. The
Corrections Officer has daily contact with the public and is
responsible for the general supervision, safety, and security of
inmates and the facility as assigned, in his/her duty station. The
Corrections Officer is responsible for the preparation of booking
data, incident, and other prisoner-related reports.
