Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse
Inventory Specialist plays a hands?on role in supporting warehouse
operations by physically handling, verifying, organizing, and
maintaining inventory throughout the facility. This position works
on the warehouse floor for most of the shift, performing receiving,
put?away, counting, consolidation, and problem?solving tasks that
ensure accurate stock levels, efficient product flow, and adherence
to the warehouse mall map and inventory plan. The specialist
collaborates closely with Receiving, Shipping, Procurement, and
Accounting teams to maintain inventory accuracy and operational
readiness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Warehouse
Operations Unload, receive, and physically inspect inbound products
and supplies; verify counts and identify damages or discrepancies.
Perform hands?on put?aways, bin moves, pallet moves, and
consolidation tasks throughout the warehouse. Use warehouse
management software and scanners to update locations, quantities,
and transaction records in real time. Assist with staging, packing,
and preparing products for outbound shipments when needed. Operate
forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse
equipment as required. Inventory Control & Accuracy Conduct regular
and frequent cycle counts, location audits, and full physical
counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate variances, missing
products, incorrect locations, and other discrepancies; work with
leadership to resolve root causes. Process warranty requests,
product returns, and damaged goods. Maintain accurate, organized,
and clearly labeled inventory throughout all storage areas.
Operational Support Monitor supply stock levels and proactively
reorder supplies to avoid shortages. Provide daily operational
updates and communicate inventory issues across departments. Assist
in developing and improving warehouse processes, labeling systems,
and storage methods. Support training of new team members on
inventory best-practices and equipment use. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) Proficiency in warehouse
management software and Microsoft Excel. Must be
forklift/Reach/Scissor Lift certified or have previous experience
that can lead to quick certification. Detail-oriented nature to
ensure accurate record-keeping and avoid discrepancies Excellent
organizational skills to keep inventory tidy, labeled, and easily
accessible. Strong interpersonal communication skills to
collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
Previous experience in warehouse or inventory environments a must
ideally at least two years in a lead or supervisory role directly
related to inventory control. Ability to adapt promptly to changes
in working conditions and quickly resolve problems. Ability to
multitask and perform well under pressure. Maintain a positive
attitude and work independently with limited supervision. Must be
able to meet the physical demands of the position outlined below.
Prior inventory and warehouse experience required. High School
Diploma or a GED equivalent required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK
ENVIRONMENT Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a
negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use
of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than
that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the
job is rated for light work. The visual acuity requirements
including color, depth perception and field vision are: The worker
is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such
as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing
a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving
small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including
inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or
fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. The conditions
the worker will be subject to in this position are: The worker is
subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside
and outside. The worker is subject to environmental conditions.
Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from
temperature changes. This position will start on our 6 a.m. to 3
p.m. schedule but we are expecting the role to move to a 9 a.m. to
