Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a premier entity in the
petroleum refining, marketing, and transportation sector, seeks an
experienced Lead Learning & Development Consultant to spearhead our
training initiatives across our extensive network. This role is
vital for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and
operational excellence. The ideal candidate will design, implement,
and monitor effective training solutions that align with
organizational goals and enhance workforce capabilities. This role
encompasses strategizing training programs from inception to
execution, as well as measuring their impact on performance and
productivity. Develop strategic training programs and curricula
that address both technical and soft skills. Partner with internal
stakeholders to identify training needs and skill gaps across
departments. Implement innovative training methods and tools,
including digital and e-learning platforms. Measure and analyze the
effectiveness of training initiatives and make data-driven
recommendations for improvement. Manage the L&D budget and
negotiate contracts with external training providers. Supervise and
mentor training team members, fostering an environment of growth
and development. Stay abreast of the latest in learning
technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive learning and
development programs. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to
handle L&D metrics and analytics. Proficient in LMS systems and
