As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Entry Screener in New Braunfels, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible, and providing exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:30 AM - 05:30 PMTue05:30 AM - 05:30 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergencies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence. Perform screening duties as required at the location, which may include checking credentials, verifying access permissions, and/or monitoring entry points. Communicate with staff and visitors in a professional manner to address any questions or concerns related to security-related matters. Document incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift as required by site procedures. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
