Job Description:
Human Resources Generalist In-Office in North San Antonio, TX
Compensation: $85,000 The Human Resources Generalist will have a
strong working knowledge of a broad range of HR functions and
proven experience applying this knowledge in a professional
business environment. Reporting to the Senior Human Resources
Manager, this role will support the corporate HR function both
locally and across acquired entities, with a focus on
post-acquisition integration and change management. Key areas of
responsibility include employee relations, policy development,
compliance reporting, performance management, and immigration case
handling. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting newly
acquired organizations through HR transitions, promoting cultural
integration and operational alignment. Responsibilities: Develops
and implements personnel policies and procedures; maintains the
employee handbook and policy manuals Monitors the performance
evaluation process to ensure compliance with company policies
Manages the Company's affirmative action program; files EEO-1
reports; maintains records and logs in compliance with EEO and
federal regulations Conducts employee orientation and onboarding in
collaboration with other HR Generalists Handles employee relations
matters, including counseling, performance management, offboarding,
and exit interviews Participates in HR and administrative meetings,
training sessions, and seminars Recommends policy and procedural
improvements to enhance departmental efficiency Ensures adherence
to internal policies and legal standards Identifies and mitigates
potential legal risks Provides guidance and change management
support to employees and managers from acquired entities during
transitions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,
Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of
progressive HR experience Proficient in HR systems (e.g., Workday,
ADP, UKG) Strong attention to detail and experience with HR data
reporting and KPI analysis Solid knowledge of HR principles,
employment law, and compliance Preferred Qualifications:
Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) Experience
with Workday HCM Background in HR support during M&A
transitions and integration initiatives
