Marriott International seeks a dedicated Steward to join our vibrant team at one of our bustling properties. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency of our dining services, ensuring the utmost quality and cleanliness standards are met, in line with Marriott's legacy of world-class hospitality. The ideal candidate will be eager to assist in kitchen duties, uphold sanitation regulations, and ensure all dining experiences are enjoyable and seamless for every guest. Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety policies. Support kitchen staff by assisting with food prep tasks and handling food safely. Dispose of waste in an environmentally conscious manner and manage recycling procedures. Conduct regular inventory checks and replenish kitchen supplies as needed. Collaborate with the culinary and serving staff to ensure smooth operation during high-volume periods. Proficiency in using industrial cleaning equipment and products Strong understanding of sanitation and safety regulations Ability to work quickly under pressure Good physical stamina and strength Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Handler's Certificate preferred Certification in Health and Safety training is a plus
