What we're looking for:Swedish Hill is seeking a passionate,
detail-oriented Lead Baker to oversee the production of our
artisanal baked goods, with an emphasis on quality, consistency,
and creativity. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a
seasoned baker who thrives in a collaborative, high-volume
environment.

- Lead daily bread production for wholesale and in-house use,
ensuring excellence in taste, texture, and presentation
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of bakers, fostering a
supportive and efficient work culture
- Create and implement systems to streamline production and
scheduling while aligning with labor and food cost goals
- Monitor inventory and place accurate, timely orders to manage
costs and avoid waste
- Collaborate with the executive and pastry teams to develop and
test seasonal offerings
- Uphold strict cleanliness and food safety standards in
accordance with Travis County Health Department
regulationsRequirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional baking experience in a
high-volume or artisanal bakery
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and team
development
- Proven ability to manage production timelines and maintain
consistency under pressure
- Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, scaling, and inventory
management
- Commitment to quality, creativity, and continuous
improvement
- Comfortable working long shifts, on your feet, in a fast-paced
