dedicated RN Unit Quality Coordinator like you to be a part of our
team. General Statement of Duties: Responsible for coordinating
performance improvement activities in concert with the hospital(s)
Mission, Vision and Values, Code of Conduct and Strategic Plan.
Plans, implements and facilitates Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
performance improvement activities. Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for coordinating performance improvement activities in
concert with the hospital(s) Mission, Vision and Values, Code of
Conduct and Strategic Plan. Plans, implements and facilitates Bone
Marrow Transplant (BMT) performance improvement activities.
Essential Job Functions: - Coordinates development and
implementation of the BMT Quality Management Plan with the BMT
Quality Manager. - Develops and implements plans for data
collection, analysis and reporting of program specific performance
measurement/assessment activities. Identifies and understands
issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from different
sources to draw conclusions; uses effective approaches for choosing
a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; takes
action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and
probable consequences. - Plans and directs the Performance
Improvement process in collaboration with department
heads/representatives throughout the BMT program and collaborates
with other Units/Departments as necessary. Provides just-in-time
education as required. Encourages others to seek opportunities for
different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and
opportunities; facilitates the implementation and acceptance of
change within the workplace. - Prepares program reports and
presentations utilizing data to present to department managers,
physicians, and other stakeholders. Maintains data repository for
BMT program to track patient outcomes, patient volumes, etc. -
Collaborates with Sarah Cannon, MHS Division, and HCA to develop
and create database system reports to support performance
improvement activities for the BMT program. What qualifications you
will need: - Bachelor is Degree in Nursing or other healthcare
related field with clinical background. - Two years of hospital
Quality experience is preferred. - Employee completes initial and
ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line,
facility and department/unit, which are specific to the needs of
the patient population served (if applicable). - Current Texas
Licensure as an RN or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
(CPHQ) is preferred Methodist Hospital opened in 1963 as the first
