ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU -
Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio,
Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric
Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local
Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of
recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be
able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon
successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral
bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour
day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Full-time position • Must have
ventilator and pediatric ICU experience required • 1 year of
experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Temporary to
permanent position possible • Required certifications: Current BLS,
ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) • Texas RN License or compact license
required • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • Must
attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire •
Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial
on-boarding • Must complete organizational entry competency
validation and Pediatric Services-specific competency validation •
Completion of all annual competency verification requirements •
Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing
process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and
evaluation • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural,
and social needs of patients and families • Administer medications
and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family
members and caregivers • Make appropriate assignments and delegate
