Touchstone Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our elderly residents. Located in diverse facilities across Texas, our focus is on creating a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of our residents. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing medication administration and assisting in daily wellness activities, ensuring both safety and comfort for our residents. Administering daily medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers Monitoring patients for side effects and reactions to medications Recording and updating patient medication files Communicating effectively with nurses and other healthcare personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care Participating in patient care assessments and support Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the facility Proficiency in medication administration Strong observational skills for monitoring patient health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain organized and accurate patient records Knowledge of basic healthcare safety protocols and procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required CPR and First Aid certifications strongly preferred
