Job Description:
As a fundamental part of our committed healthcare team at HCA
Healthcare, the Emergency Room Registered Nurse holds a pivotal
role in delivering exceptional care to patients in urgent medical
conditions in our state-of-the-art emergency facilities. Our ER
Nurses are trained to manage acute symptoms, initiate life-saving
procedures, and collaborate closely with physicians and other
medical staff to ensure a comprehensive response to any emergency.
Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, they must be
quick-thinking, dedicated, and skilled in high-pressure scenarios.
Assessing patient conditions through consistent monitoring,
communication, and evaluation of physical or mental changes.
Delivering a range of treatment modalities including administering
medications, wound dressing, and coordinating diagnostic tests.
Responding to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions
and collaborating with the medical team to deliver patient-centered
care. Educating patients and their families on management of their
condition and post-hospital treatment plans. Maintaining patient
records with high accuracy in accordance to healthcare regulations
and hospital policy. Participating in continuous education to
improve nursing skills and maintain current knowledge in medical
protocol. Strong ability to operate under extreme pressure
Proficiency in the use of medical software for patient management
Excellent interpersonal communication skills Capability to perform
CPR and other necessary lifesaving actions Ability to manage time
and juggle multiple priorities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
