Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide telehealth services in an educational setting. This contract position requires expertise in facilitating clear and effective communication between Deaf or hard of hearing students and educators or healthcare providers via remote platforms. Responsibilities include: Interpreting signed and spoken communication accurately during telehealth sessions Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times Collaborating with educators and healthcare professionals to support student needs Adhering to ethical standards and relevant guidelines for sign language interpretation Preferred qualifications include: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience with telehealth interpreting Familiarity with educational environments and terminology Ability to work independently under a 1099 contract arrangement Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to accommodate scheduled remote sessions This position is based in Mason, OH, supporting remote telehealth services for school-related needs.
