seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a job in San Antonio,
Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiovascular
Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration:
Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type:
Staff /n Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience /n
POSITION /n Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly
specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all
procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In
addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab
personnel. Completes established competencies for the position
within designated introductory period. Other related duties as
assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a certificate or degree
granting program or post-secondary educational program in health
science. or equivalent education MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years of
interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE : Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology
Specialist (RCES) PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Limited
Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) REQUIRED
CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): - Must have active healthcare
provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must
have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire - AHA ACLS
must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
