Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN
Coordinator Patient Throughput to join our team. This pivotal role
focuses on optimizing patient flow within our facilities, ensuring
efficient and effective patient care delivery. The RN Coordinator
will oversee the coordination and management of patient admissions,
transfers, and discharges. By closely collaborating with medical
staff, nursing, and administrative teams, this position plays a key
role in enhancing patient experience and improving clinical
outcomes in line with HCA Healthcares mission to care for and
improve human life. Efficiently coordinate patient admissions,
transfers, and discharges to maximize bed utilization and reduce
wait times. Assess, prioritize, and manage patient flow processes
to ensure seamless patient care transitions. Collaborate with
various healthcare team members including doctors, nurses, and
administrative staff to enhance service delivery. Develop and
implement throughput strategies to improve efficiency and
effectiveness of patient care delivery. Provide education and
support to staff on best practices in patient throughput. Track,
analyse, and report on patient flow metrics to optimize operations
and hospital capacity. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and safety standards. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a stressful
environment Comprehensive understanding of hospital workflow and
operations Competency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
employment. Certification in Case Management (CCM) or similar is
preferred.
