Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our
dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with an
interdisciplinary team in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals
and our home health setting, focusing on delivering exceptional
therapy to patients with a variety of speech, language, and
swallowing disorders. This position requires a compassionate
professional who is committed to the highest levels of patient care
and excellence. Assess and diagnose patients with speech, language,
voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement personalized
treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
coordinate treatment. Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatments as needed. Educate patients and families on speech
disorders and therapy techniques. Maintain accurate and
confidential patient records. Participate in ongoing education to
stay abreast of industry advances and best practices. Expertise in
various speech and language therapy techniques. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team. Proficient in using healthcare IT systems. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state
license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
