Labor and Delivery in San Antonio, TX. This 13-week night shift
contract (3x12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended

Credentialing & Compliance Support - Step-by-step guidance to
ensure you're assignment-ready. Key Responsibilities of the Travel
Nurse Provide direct care and monitoring throughout all stages of
labor and childbirth. Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean
sections, and emergency procedures. Administer medications,
including epidurals, Pitocin, and pain management, as ordered.
Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and maternal vital signs.
Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and
NICU staff. Educate and support patients and families during labor
and postpartum recovery. Ensure accurate documentation and
adherence to hospital policies and safety standards. Requirements
of the Travel Nurse Active Texas RN license (or compact eligible).
BLS and ACLS certifications required. NRP and fetal monitoring
certification (AWHONN) strongly preferred. Minimum 2 years' recent
L&D experience in a high-volume setting. Strong clinical
judgment, multitasking, and communication skills. Comfortable
managing both routine and high-risk deliveries. Why Work in San
