Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: - TNCC (required by start date) - ENPC (required by start date) - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Contract position for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with a night shift schedule. The nurse will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position requires floating to facilities as needed. The unit consists of 32 beds and has a staff of 117. The expected patient ratios are 4:1. Typical procedures performed include lumbar punctures, intubations, and laceration repairs. Candidates should be great team players and anticipate the needs of patients and the department. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweaters. No pullover sweatshirts are acceptable.
