Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital | Texsan to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. About the Unit: - 30 bed medical/surgical ICU specializing in cardiovascular surgical care - Patient to Nurse ratio 2:1 - Nationally recognized Beacon Award winning unit for Nursing Excellence - Comprehensive educational offerings, including physician presentations - Proficiency training for specialty equipment - Experienced charge nurses and unit leadership - This specialized ICU offers the opportunity and educational resources to become certified in Critical Care – plus you’ll earn a bonus each year you maintain the certification! What is required: - Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing required - BSN preferred - Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required - 3 years of RN experience in an ICU setting preferred - Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required. If Compact RN license, must have TX RN license within 90 days of hire. Methodist Hospital Texsan is a 120 bed acute care hospital.
