/n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 1 year of recent
NICU or neonatal nursing experience/n - Active RN License in Texas
or compact state (Texas RN jobs)/n - BLS certification (AHA
required)/n - NRP certification (AHA required)/n - STABLE
certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care
of Sick Infants)/n - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
preferred/n - Completion of New Nurses Orientation within first 30
days of hire/n - Annual competency verification required/n /n/nNICU
RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver routine and advanced care to
NICU and Labor & Delivery patients/n - Independently manage all
aspects of neonatal and maternal patient care/n - Utilize the
nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention,
and evaluation/n - Administer medications and treatments, monitor
for side effects and effectiveness/n - Document patient history,
symptoms, medications, and care provided/n - Educate patients,
families, and caregivers on health needs and care plans/n - Support
the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of
patients and families/n - Delegate tasks to other healthcare
providers as appropriate/n - Participate in competency validation
