Job Description & Requirements Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a TX or compact RN license and specialized perinatal certifications. \n \n Responsibilities\n Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Recovery, and Nursery unit (LDRPN) Night shift schedule from 7PM to 7AM Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 for Labor & Delivery and 1:6 for Postpartum (3 moms/3 babies) Care for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns Full-time employment Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum continuum Perform medication and treatment administration per established protocols and monitor patient responses Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on perinatal and newborn care Team structure includes support from designated preceptors for onboarding and competency validation Completion of all initial and annual competency requirements is mandatory All newly hired RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation and perinatal competency validation Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Holiday coverage and flexibility are expected \n \n Requirements\n Active RN license in TX or compact state Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications from AHA required Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC C-EFM certification required Current STABLE certification (Participant, Lead, or Support Instructor) required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred At least 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or perinatal nursing preferred \n Benefits\n High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts \n American Traveler Job ID P-611463.
