Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2.5 years of ED experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: Proficiency in ESI triage Splinting STEMI and Stroke processes Assisting with chest tubes, central lines, and lumbar punctures Description: A healthcare facility seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The position requires a commitment to providing quality care and ensuring patient safety. Candidates must have strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Travelers are required to float as needed. The unit consists of 11 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. Staffing includes multiple RNs throughout the day and night shifts. Self-scheduling will initially be performed by unit staff, allowing agency personnel to offer availability later. Candidates must adhere to the dress code, including wearing navy scrubs. Nails should be clean and healthy, and hair styled appropriately. Visible body art must be covered, and visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
