want your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs all required radiological duties in accordance with NCT
license, and maintains required certification and mandatory
training. Capable of performing all x-ray views according to
provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in
compliance with company policy and procedures. Maintains,
calibrates and performs controls on x-ray equipment. Inspects and
reports artifacts from the x-ray screen, and operates equipment
according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Completes
semi-annual x-ray inspections and performs equipment audits as
scheduled. Maintains records and logs on activities completed
during x-rays and maintains an awareness and working knowledge of
required and available reports, resources, deadlines and other
information and systems. Understands and follows company compliance
program policies and procedures, and actively participates in
company’s Continuous Quality Improvement program if necessary.
Completes incident reports and occurrence reports timely and
appropriately. Works with hospital radiology for reviews and
surveys, and any additional required radiology meetings and
in-services. - Capable of performing all x-ray views according to
provider’s orders, clinical practice under state law and in
compliance with company policy and procedures. Documents the
patient record according to established clinical practice and
company policies and procedures. - Maintains, calibrates and
performs controls on x-ray equipment daily. - Inspects and reports
artifacts from the x-ray screen to hospital radiology department. -
Operates equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines.
Completes semi-annual x-ray inspections. Performs equipment audits
as scheduled. Job Qualifications - 6 months of experience in a
medical setting - High school graduate or equivalent - Current Non
Certified Technician (NCT) certification with the Texas Medical
