POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as the primary support contact for their Epic application in the Ancillary and Specialty Systems team. - Designs, builds, and tests the system to achieve workflow requirements to meet end user needs. - Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner.

Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UHS staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UHS policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in information technology or other work related field is required. - Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required. - Experience specifically in Epic Ancillary and Specialty systems applications preferred. - Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. - Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
