Job Description:

At Cisco Networking Experiences ("NX"), we know that technology can connect, empower, and drive us. By simplifying powerful technology, we can free passionate people to focus on their mission. Meraki is the fastest-growing cloud-managed team in the world, and our product and technology architecture is changing the landscape of enterprise networking and making cloud-managed IT a reality.

You:

Cisco Networking Experiences ("NX") is looking for a leader to join the Business Model Planning and Design team to define and implement an engagement model with internal team members that will extract their critical business needs and ready them for program execution! You will work closely with internal functional leaders and use planning and prioritization to build clear roadmaps with tangible requirements that will accelerate business transformation and improve efficiency. You will lead our functional planning and business design efforts, working to identify and deliver our clients' highest priorities while participating in operating cadences grounded in our values and best practices. You will be the voice of your partners for critical, enterprise-level, multi-functional initiatives, guiding on capabilities needed for a high-growth, subscription forward business. Are you motivated by enabling change at a pace that mirrors the velocity of the business, while maintaining a high level of care and empathy for customers and the problems they are seeking to solve? Come join us!

What You Will Do:

  • Own the day-to-day activities for the "as a service" value stream within Cisco Global Business Operations for Cisco Meraki. Lead a supporting team of product owners, architects, scrum masters, and engineers to optimize and evolve the operations stack that enables new offers and consumption models for as-a-service.
  • Cultivate deep relationships, maintain a clear understanding of your internal customers and their needs. Clearly translate unmet need to capability through well defined prioritized backlog with clear success metrics across multiple squads (scrum teams).
  • Partner with Program Management and Development leaders to continuously improve how we work (SAFE6 Agile) while delivering outstanding results.
  • Partner broadly to increase the value derived from key business applications, help internal customers adopt core services, and identify process and application improvements.
  • Proactively assess the core services we provide, benchmarking them against external technology trends and internal customer roadmaps to identify future improvements and investment opportunities.

    Who You Are:

    • An experienced product manager, who has built capabilities or products for (internal and/or external) customers through all steps in the lifecycle: from vision to market to fit through to optimized results.
    • Passionate about as-a-service business, conversant in the global business capabilities required to build and operate as-a-service from touchpoints to entitlements to service levels and more.
    • You understand Agile Principles. You may be Pragmatic Product Management certified and you've been a product manager. You have the experience to live people over process and deliver continuous value.
    • You excel in highly matrixed large organizations and know how to get things done. You capably respond to internal client and team needs to collectively deliver customer outcomes, navigating and resolving considerations from all team members from end to end through the lifecycle of capabilities and initiatives.
    • You distill complicated ideas into just the right number of words, are a deep listener, and can pinpoint what compels and brings an audience along.
    • You build strong, positive relationships and can lead others to do what is necessary and inspire change. You can articulate a clear direction and design paths to deliver on outcomes.
    • You use hypotheses to drive engagements and data where available to guide decisions and measure efficiency. You are analytical, passionate about outcome delivery, and are committed to quantifying the impact.
    • You take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of other groups. You invite and act on different points of view.
    • You are a critical thinker and problem solver. You orient to getting things done and believe in the power of progress.
    • You invest in your team's development. You take the time to know what encourages and motivates each person and commit to making work significant.

      Your experience includes:

      • Delivery excellence: experience leading high-visibility enterprise-level initiatives with high revenue/cost mitigation impact in dynamic environments with tight turnarounds.
      • Defining operations capabilities: experience creating multi-gen/multi-horizon capability roadmaps and in-quarter PI planning with pragmatic operational capability features, epics, and user stories.
      • Leading change: experience operationalizing capabilities from the level of individual user stories in a sprint to the global availability of capabilities enabling the ownership and acquisition lifecycles across internal and external customers.
      • Business and product domain expertise: 7+ years of Business Process or consulting experience in flexible consumption models, licensing, subscriptions, recurring revenue, SaaS environments, and complex routes to market.
      • 3+ years of leadership experience at a senior level.
