Job Description Job Description Immediately hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician for a machine shop on the north side of San Antonio. The CNC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of CNC equipment and other industrial production equipment. Position requires proficiency in vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, three, four, and five axis mills. Pay is up to $30/hr. depending on experience Shift is Mon-Thurs 7am-6pm, Fri 7am-3pm Duties: Performs troubleshooting and repairing of machining equipment and related equipment that performs milling, drilling, and grinding functions. Analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs a variety of CNC and multi-purpose electronic and/or electro-mechanical control systems for industrial and precision equipment. Tests, analyze malfunctions, modifies, repairs, adjusts, and maintains mechanical portions of automatic control instruments and related recording devices used in the operation of industrial manufacturing equipment. Operates machines through necessary cycles to check mechanical portion of electronic and/or electro-mechanical systems and detects any variations from specifications. Analyzes results of the tests to locate and determine the cause of the malfunction. Modifies and adjusts settings to related equipment in order to properly align mechanical systems. Repairs faulty components, re-tests system or systems as necessary. Utilizes various electrical and mechanical measuring equipment and conducts operational tests as necessary. Manage historical records of operation and repair for life-cycle management of the assets. Requirements: High School or equivalent technical degree from accredited Vocational School. Minimum 5 years equipment maintenance experience, preferably with Mazak CNC mills and lathes. Position requires physical dexterity and handling of equipment and hardware that often exceeds 50lbs.
