Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a
rewarding opportunity to provide specialized speech and language
services for middle school students in a dynamic school
environment. The role is itinerant, supporting two campuses with
students in grades 6 through 8, serving approximately 100 students.
This is a maternity leave coverage contract beginning early April
and continuing through late May. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
individual and group speech and language therapy to students,
addressing a variety of communication needs. - Collaborate with
educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Maintain
accurate documentation and reports in compliance with professional
standards. - Conduct speech and language assessments and monitor
student progress regularly. - Adapt therapy strategies to meet the
diverse needs of students across two campuses. Qualifications: -
Valid professional licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC)
required. - Experience working with school-aged children,
preferably grades 6-8. - Ability to manage an itinerant caseload
across multiple school sites. - Successfully completed
fingerprinting and background check. - Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Location & Schedule: - Position is based in
San Antonio, TX, supporting two middle schools. - Full-time
schedule at 37.5 hours per week. - Contract duration: April 1, 2026
