Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
virtual speech-language pathology services in a K-12 educational
setting, this contract position supports student communication
development via telespeech and teletherapy. The role involves
supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), observing
therapy sessions, collecting classroom data to assist in
Individualized Education Program (IEP) preparation, and
participating in IEP meetings. Key responsibilities: Deliver
speech-language therapy services remotely to students ranging from
kindergarten to 12th grade. Supervise and collaborate with an SLPA;
candidates without prior supervision experience are required to
complete a two-hour webinar. Add the SLPA to the candidates Texas
SLP license through the Texas Department of Licensing and
Regulation. Collect and analyze classroom data to support IEP
development. Attend and contribute to IEP meetings. Ensure
compliance with all district and state regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications and experience: Active Texas SLP licensure.
ASHA certification preferred if clinical hours are logged.
Experience supervising an SLPA is a plus; if absent, completion of
a 2-hour supervision webinar is necessary. Familiarity with the
Texas licensing process and ability to update licensure for SLPA
supervision. Prior experience with school-based speech-language
pathology services highly desirable. Assignment details: Location:
San Antonio, TX (teletherapy services provided remotely to assigned
schools). Contract duration: Immediate start through May 29, 2026.
40 hours per week. Service delivery across multiple schools,
caseload details to be determined. This role offers an opportunity
to contribute valuable communication support to a diverse student
population. Interviews are scheduled with accommodations for
