Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education / Dyslexia Teacher is needed to
support K-5 students in a dynamic school setting. This full-time
contract position, located near San Antonio, TX, offers an
opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic growth of
children requiring specialized instruction. Responsibilities
include: - Delivering individualized and group instruction tailored
to students with special education and dyslexia needs - Developing
and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) aligned
with educational standards and student goals - Collaborating with
general education teachers, specialists, and parents to create a
supportive learning environment - Monitoring and documenting
student progress and adjusting instructional approaches as needed -
Maintaining classroom management conducive to learning and
promoting student engagement Qualifications: - Certification and
experience in Special Education and Dyslexia instruction -
Experience teaching students in grades Kindergarten through 5th
grade - Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies for
diverse learners - Excellent communication and organizational
skills - Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom
environment Position Details: - Location: San Antonio, TX area -
Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week - Age group
served: 6-12 years old - Job type: Contract for the current school
