Job Description Job Description Description: The Quarry Golf Club is looking for individuals to join our hardworking maintenance team. Specific responsibilities include: Maintaining putting and tee surfaces - mowing, ball mark repair, topdressing, rotating placement markers Maintaining fairway surfaces - Divots and general area clean up, trimming drain tiles, yardage plates and sprinkler heads Maintaining roughs, bunker areas, & cart paths - String trimming, mowing, hand sweeping/blowing General maintenance & labor - shoveling, raking, sweeping, painting, equipment cleaning Power equipment requirements - -mowers, light and medium duty utility vehicles The staff is broken into two crews. A typical weekly schedule. Crew A: Monday – Thursday: 5:00am-2:00pm, Friday: 5:00am-9:00am. Off the rest of the day Friday and all-Day Saturday and Sunday. Crew B: Monday – Thursday: 5:00am-1:00pm, off Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:00am-9:00am. Requirements: Skills/Requirements Ability to use hand and power tools necessary Physical strength and stamina to perform specified duties; e.g. bending, stooping, kneeling, etc. during all types of weather conditions is essential Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions while working alone or in a group setting
