Inspection SystemsINTERN - Summer 2024

The Inspection Systems internship is a dual function role, exposing the intern to both PLC+HMI environment as well as data reporting tools. We are looking for a strong candidate in both areas, driven to learn and improve existing systems while also pushing new ideas.

THE PROJECT

• Exposure to Omron PLC & HMI software/development, as well as their integration into a functional system.
• Implement and manage added usage and changes to system.
• Very hands-on and will require strong PLC skills.
• Create/modify production data reports based on corporate tools (Knime, Power BI, Python).
  • Learning production flow and data utilization, and identifying key metrics that will help monitor and improve overall system.
    
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    
    
    • Scheduled workday is Monday- Friday 8am-5pm (40hrs a week) but Intern must be available for shift rotation for 24/7 production operation.
    • Must be in good standing and currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program
    • Must currently have a GPA of 2.8 or higher to be considered
    • Must be a currently enrolled student working toward a bachelor's degree in Engineering at an accredited college or university
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the company
    • All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
